French Roulette

Objective

French Roulette is Roulette with a single zero which contains 36 numbers and a zero (0).

French Roulette is different from other types of Roulette in that the layout of the table is different and thus the numbers and winnings are situated in differently.
In French Roulette the winnings are higher than in European or American Roulette as the players only lose 50% of their wager on 1:1 bets when the Roulette wheel stops at zero. This is called the "La Partage" rule.

How To Play

There are different types of bets, which are divided into two categories: Bets in the inner area of the table (Inside Bets) and bets in the outer area of the table (Outside Bets). The individual options cover the different groups of numbers and differ in winnings.

Types of Bets

Inside Bets

  • Straight Bet
A bet directly placed on a number (1 - 36, 0). If the ball falls on the 0, you get half of your bet back.

  • Split Bet
Here you bet on two adjacent numbers on the table by placing your chip on the line between the two numbers.

  • Street Bet
A bet on three numbers in a row. The chip is placed on the table's border line adjacent to the desired line.

  • Corner Bet
Here you bet on a group of four numbers. Place your chip on the point at which all four numbers meet.

  • Six Line Bet
You bet on 6 numbers in two rows of three.
Example: You bet on 4, 5, 6 and 7, 8, 9. The chip is placed on the right line of the table alongside the desired rows of three at the point where the borderline divides the two rows of numbers.

Outside Bets

  • Column Bet
On the outside of the roulette table there are three areas which are marked "2 to 1". If you place a chip in one of these areas, you bet on all 12 numbers in that area.

  • Dozen Bet
You can bet on a group of 12 numbers by placing your chip on the area marked "1st 12", "2nd 12" or "3rd 12".

Finales are numbers which end in the same digit, and Finales en plein (Split Finals) are pairs of numbers which end in the same digit.

Scroll down to find the desired announcement. Then set the value of chips you would like to set on the announcement. In the game above you bet $1 on 9 chips on announcements, in total $9. If you would like to increase your bet and place $2 per chip, simply click on "Add Bet". Click on "Decrease Bet" to reduce the bet by $1.

When you click on "Bet" your complete bet is shown on the table.

You may increase / decrease or remove your bet at any time provided that the wheel has not yet spun. When the chips have been placed on the table, you can remove them by clicking on the individual chips with the right mouse button.

We recommend that you try out announcing bets offline, before you play for money.

Bets on neighbouring numbers

Here bets are placed on numbers which are next to each other on the roulette wheel. Example: If you want to place a bet on the number 25 and the numbers to its left and right, you place a neighbouring bet on the number 25 by betting on the numbers 2, 25 and 17.

Scroll down to select a number and then chose which neighbours of this number (one, two, three or four) you would like to bet on. Then set the value of the chips that you would like to set on the announcement. In the game above you bet $1 on 5 chips on neighbouring numbers, in total $5. If you would like to increase your bet and place $2 per chip, simply click on "Add Bet". Click on "Decrease Bet" to reduce the bet by $1.

When you click on "Bet" your complete bet is shown on the table.

You can increase / decrease or remove your bet at any time provided that the wheel has not yet spun. When the chips have been placed on the table, you can remove thenm by clicking on the individual chips with the right mouse button.
